Step 1:  Write Down The Vision

Habakkuk 2:2-3 – Then the Lord replied:  Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.  For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will no prove false.  Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.

 

Step 2: Lay Down Distractions

Heb 12:1 – Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

 

Step 3:  Trust and seek God with the vision that He gave you.

a.  Prov 3:5-6  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.

b.   Don’t go ahead of God.  Wait on Him for direction.

c.   Lay down the vision, so He can have control over it.

d.  Trust in His timing.

 

Step 4:  Quit Comparing yourself to others or to your past (good or bad).

a.   Jer 29:11  For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you (or destroy you) plans to give you hope and a future.

b.   Isaiah 43:18-19  Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.  See, I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?  I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
